NORDWEST cooperates
with other trade associations
NORDWEST strengthens its position in the market through targeted cooperation with other trade organisations. These strategic alliances are a decisive factor in our success, and contribute to the continuous expansion of our presence in core markets, related sectors and neighbouring European countries. By working with various partners, we gain access to new customers and suppliers, increase sales opportunities for our exclusive brands and optimise our warehouse business. Cooperation is proving to be extremely advantageous for NORDWEST, particularly with regard to expansion in Europe. Our cooperating partners include major trade and purchasing organisations such as Euro Craft in the international context, with its partners 3e, Comafe, Socoda, Zevij-Necomij and Troy Group. In the steel sector, we cooperate with European purchasing organisations which have established themselves under astedis. We maintain other national association partnerships with groups such as E.I.S, CARAT, BAMAKA and Eurobaustoff.

Since the beginning of 2022, NORDWEST has been part of EURO CRAFT, Europe’s leading B2B cooperation in construction and industry.
With strong partners, we unite over 5,000 locations in 25 countries, thereby strengthening our position as the leading association in Europe. Moreover, our cooperation further reinforces the position of the leading associations in the hardware sector in Europe and on the domestic markets.
Since the end of 2016, the association E.I.S. Beschaffungs- und Marketing GmbH & Co. KG from Cologne and NORDWEST have been in cooperation.
Since September 2023, five steel purchasing groups have been operating together in a Europe-wide network under the name astedis (Association of Steel Distributors).
Thanks to the ad-CARGO central warehouse and the nationwide network of members and partners, the Mannheim-based CARAT Group is able to operate a nationwide logistics infrastructure.
In September 2022, NORDWEST intensified its cooperation with 3e Handels- und Dienstleistungs AG, the leading Austrian association for tool and hardware retailers.
NORDWEST has been a partner of the Spanish trade association Comafe from Madrid since 2021.
NORDWEST has been cooperating with Euro-Mat since mid-2024. It is the premier European platform to facilitate and inspire builders merchants and leading suppliers in finding solutions to make the building process more efficient.
