Contract with NORDWEST Member of the Management Board Jörg Simon extended once again
Dortmund, 09/04/2025 – The Supervisory Board of NORDWEST Handel AG, headquartered in Dortmund, has extended Jörg Simon's management contract early. He will continue to serve on the Management Board of NORDWEST through 31/12/2027.
“We are proud that Jörg Simon will be remaining on the NORDWEST Handel AG management board through the end of 2027. Especially in these challenging times, we are confirming our commitment to continuity with this decision. This is an important aspect of corporate management for the Supervisory Board” said Martin Bertinchamp, Chair of the NORDWEST Handel AG Supervisory Board, explaining the decision.
As an experienced industry insider, Jörg Axel Simon has almost 40 years of experience in associated companies, almost 20 of them at NORDWEST. He has been on the management board of the Dortmund-based affiliated company since June 2015. In this position, he is responsible for the areas of steel, corporate development & acquisition, finances, financial services, accounting, controlling & taxes, legal/compliance, internal audit, QM, investor relations/financial communication, and TeamFaktor NW. Jörg Simon will continue to serve on the management board with Michael Rolf and Thorsten Sega.
