Supplier competition in the B2B sector
Dortmund, 22/04/2024 – For the third time, NORDWEST Handel AG is organising the “Zukunftspreis für Nachhaltigkeit” (Future Award for Sustainability), for which supplier partners from the steel, building services, construction, crafts and industry sectors are invited to apply until 31 August 2024. An independent jury of experts will select three winning companies from the projects submitted, each of which will receive prize money of 6,000 euros from NORDWEST. In October, NORDWEST will invite all participating supplier partners to a sustainability event in Düsseldorf, where the award ceremony will take place.
NORDWEST holds the “Zukunftspreis für Nachhaltigkeit” award ceremony every two years to honour manufacturers who are committed to sustainable transformation and act as pioneers in the B2B industry. The aim is to promote positive change both within companies and in society. The three top innovations and projects each receive prize money totalling 6,000 euros for a team event. In addition to this financial recognition, NORDWEST offers winners media support within the industry as well as an invitation to the award ceremony on 29 October 2024.
Regardless of the size of the entry, NORDWEST is convinced that every step towards environmental protection is an important one. We are looking for projects that save valuable raw materials, recycle products, promote environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, drive forward the energy transition or promote environmental protection. An independent jury of experts will select the three winning projects of the 3rd NORDWEST Zukunftspreis Nachhaltigkeit 2024 from all submissions.
“Sustainability doesn’t necessarily mean giving things up. We need to find new ways to meet our needs without putting future generations at a disadvantage. To show how this can be achieved, we are looking for excellent ideas and projects from our supplier partners that put the concept of sustainability into practice in an innovative way”, explains NORDWEST board member Thorsten Sega.
Supplier partners can obtain further information about how to participate in the award in the N.I.S. and from their NORDWEST contacts.
